Whether you are already a skilled healthcare professional or just beginning your career, this course will prepare you to initiate, manage, and discontinue IVs.  This course is recommended for healthcare professionals with a healthcare credential (ie. RN, LPN). We welcome you to register with the knowledge that initiating, managing, and discontinuing IVs is within your legal scope of practice.

Class Requirements:

1. Register and complete payment

2. Complete the lecture portion and successfully pass the written exam with an 80% or greater score. 

3. Complete the hands on IV skills training and will successfully initiate and discontinue an IV using IV training mannequins.

Upon completing this class, you will receive a Certificate of completion.
